Flight Log of Tianjin Airlines Flight 7860 from Wuhan to Tianjin on December 8th, 2016
I only stayed in Wuhan(武汉) for one night before rushing back to Beijing.
My trip back begins at Wuhan(武汉) Railway Station, where I took the subway to Hankou(汉口) Railway Station, then Hankou-Xiaogan(孝感) Intercity Railway to Wuhan Tianhe Airport.

GPS tacking is here.
The fact is that, after arriving at Hankou Railway Station I found that I could take a train there from Wuhan Railway Station (basically internal trains of Wuhan Railway Department), and there were quite several trains going that way. Must be more pleasant than the overcrowded Wuhan subway.
Since it was still early in the night, I got off the subway near Jiang-Han-Guan (江汉关 Customs at Han River) Pedestrian Street and finished dinner there.
I took the latest intercity train to Tianhe Airport (I will skip the filthy dirty airport shuttle bus here) and arrived there at 8pm in the evening. But since the public check-in counters only open 2 hours in advance in Tianhe Airport, and the auto check-in machines didn’t print boarding passes for Tianjin(天津) Airlines. So, I had no choice but to wait in the noisy check-in areas for half an hour.
Then about this ticket. When searching for my return flight I found the late-night flights back to Beijing were all around 300+ CNY(which was quite cheap), then I came across this flight to Tianjin at 180CNY. (I turned out the airline didn’t fill up the plane even with tickets this cheap, as the middle seats in this A320 were mostly vacant.) I thought that I hadn’t been to Tianjin Airport for years, and I could spend the night in a hotel near the airport and took Metro+Intercity Train+Metro on the next day back to school, which weren’t that bad compared with Beijing Airport’s late-night shuttle buses. So that’s it.
The whole flight schedule of GS7680 was Haikou(海口)-Wuhan(武汉)-Tianjin(天津). The plane arrived from Haikou slightly delayed, but the boarding began on time. So for 10 minutes I marveled at how efficiently the ground crew at Wuhan serviced the airplane, which was, until I saw the state of the carpets and seat cushions.
Little more to talk about, as the whole cabin serviced was summarized as “tea, hot water or bottled water”. Since it’s late in night and everybody’s sleeping, nobody cared.
Tianjin(天津) Airport welcomed me with its brand-new Terminal 2. To emphasize its welcome, our plane was parked at the most distant jet bridge of T2 to make sure I was given the most detailed tour of this new terminal.
Then I called the
Then it’s the Metro+Intercity Train+Metro combo back to Beijing. I purchased the train tickets right before checking out of the hotel, and then took the city metro to Tianjin(天津) Railway Station. It was only 10 minutes before my train departed that I got off of the city metro, but since I found boarding Beijing(北京)-Tianjin(天津) Intercity Train was possible from the underground metro level, I caught my train with ease.
