First day of my Utah trip as I hiked Malans Peak outside Ogden at sunset. It’s not a very long trail that fitted in my schedule after getting off the plane in the afternoon, which rewarded me with spectacular views of distant Great Salt Lake and nearby towns.

I made a trip to the State of Utah in early June, 2020, exploring three of its “Mighty Five” National Parks. This is the outbound flight to Salt Lake City, not a lot of events, full except for middle seats, and some scenery along the way.

First weekend of February 2022, I made a trip to Boston, visiting some friends and running some errands. This post would be about the roundtrip flight with JetBlue, the Hyatt Regency hotel overlooking Boston Harbor, and the Museum of Fine Arts that I visited during my spare time.

January 2022. After spending a week sightseeing in Arizona, among its saguaros, red rocks and Grand Canyon, this is the inbound flight segments where I flew Spirit Airlines and Southwest Airlines from Phoenix back to Baltimore via Detroit.

Seventh and last day of my 2021 Arizona trip, my friend and I would spend the day visit the few vistas along the southern rim of Grand Canyon National Park, before driving back to Phoenix later in the day for our flight back to the east coast.

Sixth day of my 2021 Arizona trip, my friend and I would spend the day hiking Bright Angel Trail, the most popular trail in the park that went from the south canyon rim all the way down to Colorado River, and back up again. Along the way was a diverse and wondrous collection of canyon landscapes that never failed to impress.

Fifth day of my 2021 Arizona trip, my friend and I would be leaving Sedona and heading for Grand Canyon. Along the way we would visit Sunset Crater and Wupatki National Monument.

Fourth day of my 2021 Arizona trip. Like the previous day, my friend and I would spend the day hiking near Sedona. For the day, we visited Bell Rock, Boynton Canyon and Cathedral Rock.

Third day of my 2021 Arizona trip. My friend and I would spend the day hiking among Sedona’s buttes and canyons, among its red rocks that had been a defining character of America’s west.

Second day of my 2022 Arizona trip. My friend and I would be climbing Picacho Peak, a thrilling YDS class 3 climb made accessible with cables and handrails, before driving to our overnight hotel near Sedona.
