The eighth and last day of my 2024 Thanksgiving trip to Las Vegas. With my flights home scheduled for 8pm, I decided to keep the day unhurried and flexible, checking out Clark County Museum in the morning before embarking on a short hike through Owl Canyon in the afternoon.

The seventh day of my 2024 Thanksgiving trip to Las Vegas. Today I hiked Fletcher Peak, a relatively short and easy hike, offering reprieve after yesterday's grueling trip to Mt Wilson.

The sixth day of my 2024 Thanksgiving trip to Las Vegas. Today I climbed Mt Wilson, part of Rainbow Mountain Wilderness on the western outskirts of Las Vegas. Unfortunately, I underestimated its commitment and ran out of daylight in the end.

The fifth day of my 2024 Thanksgiving trip to Las Vegas. Today, I visited Valley of Fire State Park, a short drive from Las Vegas featuring enchanting formations of Aztec Sandstone.

The fourth day of my 2024 Thanksgiving trip to Las Vegas. Today I would wrap up my visit to Death Valley, checking out Mosaic Canyon in the morning and Artist Drive in the afternoon, before catching the sunset and starry skies from Dante’s View.

The third day of my 2024 Thanksgiving trip to Las Vegas. I spent this entire day in Death Valley National Park, checking out two canyons (Sidewinder and Golden) together with Badwater Basin.

The second day of my 2024 Thanksgiving trip to Las Vegas. Today I made the drive from Las Vegas to Death Valley National Park, checking out Ubehebe Crater along the way before watching the sunset at Zabriskie Point.

I took a few days off before Thanksgiving 2024 to explore nature around Las Vegas. This post would be about my flights back and forth, and the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix that I stumbled across.
